On September 8, 2016, the Inter-American Chapter and Inbound Logistics Magazine hosted the First Annual Logistics and Supply Chain Leaders Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami.  Over 120 attendees from U.S. and Mexican companies participated in this event.  Distinguished keynote speakers included Seth M. Stodder, Assistant Secretary for Border, Immigration, & Trade Policy from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Ricardo Trevino Chapa, Director of Customs from Mexico’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SAT), and Raul Alfonso, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Port Tampa Bay.   Panel topics included: “Current Assessment and Growth Potential of the U.S.-Mexico Logistics Corridor,” “Supply Chain Integration in the Americas,”  “Customs and Border Facilitation,” Challenges and Opportunities in Cross Border E-Commerce,” “Specialty Logistics,” and “Investing and Financing Logistics Infrastructure and Projects.”
